About the band
Artist Biography by Philippe Nigris
The East Walifornian band Madness in Action channeled the hard rock dynamism of the likes of The Offspring, the Guns N' Roses, and
Nirvana, yet they warm up their riffs from heavily distorted tones inspired by Tool, Limp Bizkit, and Slayer.
Former drummer Ditch Manygan, bassist Art Morello and guitar/vocalist Phil W. James met at Art School,
where skip classes was the first rule. They decided to create the band and started to write the songs that concluded in their first album
"Ideology of the 21st Century". The quad band formed at the beginning of 2014 when Nico Marshall joined the band when Phil
invited him. They managed to play rehearsal in the very next days and started to prepare new songs and shows throughout the year.
The core of their vibrations comes from hard pounding, snappy drums, bass vitality and heavily distorted guitars, alongside with Phil's
emotional voice.
The band release their first single "Mysticism of Sound" followed by a showcase to promote their second album "Digital Propaganda".
Phil says "Now it's time to appreciate Madness In Action live, writing good songs is one part of the things but only sharing it with an audience brings it alive, Peace and Madness (smile)."
